News
The state of Minnesota class of 2012 just got a little bit stronger as the new Viking OL coach Jeff Davidson is bring his son with him from Charlotte.  A 6-7 270 pound son that is on the Rivals 250 watchlist and already has offers from Clemson, VT, WV, SCAR, UNC, tU, NCST, Stan, Mary and Duke.  Minnesota actually seems like it could be a viable option that this point so let’s keep our fingers crossed.
Jonah Pirsig is touring what feels like the entire BX this weekend making stops in Iowa City, Madison, Ann Arbor, East Lansing and Columbus.
Minnesota still has a long way to go to match the quantity and quality of unofficial visitors as their BX peers.  For example PSU had 22 visitors last weekend with well over half of them being from out of state and some coming from as far away as Georgia. Michigan is also expecting a large number of visitors this weekend.  I wish that recruits found Minnesota that intriguing.
Brady Hoke is making things tougher for the BX recruiting, MSU specifically, by focusing on Michigan, Ohio, Indiana and Chicago for their recruiting needs.  A special emphasis is being placed on kids from Detroit which is where Mark Dantonio has been making hay during the Rich Rod era.
Ifeadi Odenigbo (DE, OH) seems to be favoring tOSU, ND and in a surprise Northwestern.
Greg McMullen (DE, OH) likes tOSU, ND and Nebraska
Vincent Valentine is said to have Illinois leading but is also considering Mich, NW and ND.
There are rumors going around that Rivals 250 watchlister Royce Jenkins-Stone (LB, MI) has Oklahoma as a clear cut favorite.
Reading between the lines it seems that Rivals 250 watchlister Vince Biegel (LB, WI) is going to be a Wisconsin commit soon.  This would be a fantastic start to Wisconsin’s 2012 class.
Camren Williams (LB, MA) chopped his list down to Michigan, PSU, Maryland, UNC and Wake Forest.
Kenneth Crawley (CB, DC) thinks that Michigan stands out in his recruitment at this time with Georgia a close second.
Terry Richardson (CB, MI) is helmet schooling with tOSU, MIch, Bama, ND and USC as his top 5
